Dear SparxSystems users,
as you would know, Sparxsystem offers full support for modeling with the standard process modeling notation BPMN 1.0.
BPMN has recently gained unprecedented momentum in process management and modeling practice. Support for BPMN in modeling and design, for example, has become a major driver in the BPM toolsuite market. But what exactly are the factors that drive this acceptance? How satisfied are you as an end user of BPMN with the notation? Do your experiences with BPMN match those by tool vendors and service providers?
Our research group at Queensland University of Technology is currently running a survey on the use of BPMN for process modeling.
Anyone that uses BPMN to model processes for whatever purpose is encouraged to participate. The outcomes of the survey will inform us about the strenghts and weaknesses when modeling with BPMN as well as the factors that determine user satisfaction and acceptance.
