BUG: Toolbox doesn't track diagram type
« on: August 12, 2007, 05:40:12 pm »
IF there is a, more than passing, relationship between the EA diagram type and the default toolbox, then when I change the diagram type, I should be asked whether I want to ALSO change the toolbox (if the currently selected toolbox is NOT the default for the new diagram type).

To add insult to injury...  ???

If I have set a component toolbox to a class diagram and then drag a document artifact on to the diagram.  If I double-click the document artifact (and open the linked document window) - when I return from the linked document, EA will reset the toolbox to the Class toolbox - changing the toolbox on me, without asking!

Pretty much exactly the opposite bug to the previous one!

Inconsistenly inconsistent!  The Worst Kind!

Sheesh!

So, you find a feature you don't like and complain; then you also complain about the feature's opposite! There is no satisfying some people is there.  ;D

Just the classic case: where two wrongs DON'T make a right!  ;D
