Is there any way to grab a key board event from an AddIn. If there is no direct way is there an indirect way?

Can you explain your problem in more detail?

Did you write your own add-in and you want to catch keyboard events while your add-in is running? Do you want to capture a keyboard event that happens in EA from your addin?

I have created a facility which can run when I click AddIn menu items. Can it be done with shortcut keys, so that the particular facility can be triggered when I press any short cut key. Is there any way?

No. There is no shortcut for your add-in. Had been requested in the Suggestions with no success. Hooking into the keyboard to catch it yourself is likely a PITA.

And while you're at it please send in a Feature Request to Sparx. Perhaps additional request will help tip this one into the "important" bucket.
