Sequence Diagram does not show Lifeline Activation
« on: December 14, 2007, 03:24:13 pm »
I'm creating a sequence diagram and the lifeline activation does not show. According to the docs, I should be able to control it from the context menu, except that none of the context menu's have the option

I have EA7 pro.

Hi Boom,

Which build of EA are you using? And what page of the help file are you looking at?

I'm looking at the Sequence Element Activations page of the help from build 818. So far so good, but I'd like to make sure you are working with the same tools.

BTW, sequence diagrams are notoriously picky about clicking (or right-clicking) on things. It can be very difficult to get EA to recognize that you are actually clicking on the message and not something else on the diagram (or on the diagram itself). Make sure you are clicking on the message, in a part of the diagram where nothing else is close by.

Thanks for inquiring. Unfornately it was indeed my mistake. I had selected Diagram Type Interaction Overview instead of Sequence when creating the diagram so it had the wrong context.
