We've added some images to show some of what Time Architect can do inside of EA.  The colours are fully customisable - we wanted something that would stand out! ;D

So far the (off-line) feedback has been good...  We invite your commments!

Solutions Reality has released version 1.0.1 of Time Architect.  This is available from http://www.timearchitect.net/download.aspx

This minor release repairs an Internationalisation issue that affected some users of the tool.

We advise all users to update to the latest version as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

Re: UPDATED! - Time Architect - v1.1 Released

Time Architect v1.1 Released!
Solutions Reality are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Time Architect version 1.1.

Time Architect version 1.1 adds the following features:
Quick Chart mode
The optional Quick Chart mode allows the creation of Gantt and project information from any UML model in EA!
By automatically allocating a duration based on element complexity/difficulty and assigning a resource (labelled 'unknown') to any elements without a resource assigned, Time Architect is able to help you sketch out the scope of the project and kick start the project planning and management processes.

Please note:  even in Quick Chart mode, TA only saves the data back to EA when you ask it to, allowing you to quickly and easily see what has to be done, without changing anything in EA!

Export to Microsoft Excel mode
As well as exporting to CSV, Time Architect now provides a full export to Microsoft Excel format.  This can export the contents of the data grid out to Microsoft Excel format and optionally can pick up the notes from all elements exported.

Improved Grid functions
As well as increasing the available columns (see below).  We have also improved the functionality of the Grid to allow pinning of columns.

Increased Columns in data grid
TA now shows the following additional columns in the data grid:
 • Type
 • Stereotype
 • Difficulty / Complexity
 • Priority
 • Status
 • Phase
 • Version
 • Modified

All of which can be used for filtering, sorting and grouping your element data.

Minor Bug fixes
A number of minor bug fixes to issues identified since the previous release.

User Guide Improvements
As well as documenting the new features we have made a number of improvements to the User Guide.  This includes a section on how to link and unlink tasks.

Download Now...
Download your copy of version 1.1 from http://www.timearchitect.net today and see the new intro movie too!

Feedback
We welcome your feedback either through the contact form on the TimeArchitect site - or break the ice and talk to us via the forum at http://forums.solutionsreality.com - see you there!

Dear all,

we are finalising version 1.2 of Time Architect and it will be entering testing soon prior to an expected release next week (during the week beginning 3rd December).

1.2 adds a number of key features to the tool including a review column that allows you see the tasks that need attention. It clearly shows the tasks that are late, those that are finished, due to start or end etc.

In addition it adds the ability to manipulate many tasks/EA elements at the same time updating both resource information and EA values.

We are now starting to plan version 1.3 (using Time Architect of course ;D) what we would like to know is what you would like to see in this release?

We know that people are downloading TA, we know that some of you are buying TA and a few of you are discussing with us about TA - Thank you!

What we would like to know is:
 • What is it you like about TA?
 • What is it that you don't?
 • If you have bought it - what made you decide to buy?
 • If you have decided not to buy - why not? What is it missing?
 • What do you really need to see in TA before you decide to buy it?

If you are not happy to add your comments here then please feel free to add your comments on the Solutions Reality forum at http://forums.solutionsreality.com alternatively, contact us through the form on the Time Architect site.

Thank you in anticipation of your help.
