Delete element in repository browser via shortcut
« on: January 30, 2008, 07:01:18 am »
Tools->Customize->Keyboard allows you to set a keystroke (e.g. deleting an element using the DEL key).

But this seems to work only on diagrams. If I click onto an element in my repository browser and click "CTRL-D" or "DEL" nothing happens. If I click on an element in a diagram, "CTRL-D" works fine and deletes the element.

Is there a possibility to set a shortcut for deleting elements from the repository ?

Regards
Bernd

I don't know whether this is configurable, but Ctrl+Delete works for deleteting everything everywhere even in the Project Browser.

Del key removes elements from diagram only, it stays in the repository. So there is no sense in hitting Del in Project Browser and as delete from Project Browser is permanent and keep hitting keys accidentally, I am against simple deletion in Browser.
