Hyperlink to PDF with parameter in HTML-Report
« on: September 10, 2008, 04:57:20 pm »
Hi,
from a sequece-diagram I'm using hyperlink-objects to open additional literature (PDF). The Acrobat Reader allows parameters, e.g. "c:\temp\lit.pdf#page=42", to open the document at the right page. But when I'm appending the  parameter to the path, EA is no longer able to open the link and it also doen't work in the HTML-report, which is the format I would like to present to my auditorium.
Does anybody now how to solve this?
Uwe

How and where are you "appending the parameter to the path" in EA? My guess - and really only a guess - is that EA is interpreting the "#" as a macro or variable delimiter and then failing to parse the rest.
No, you can't have it!
