Transparent Background

I tried to add an alternate image with a transparent background without success. The transparent color of the imported png-image is always ignored.
I know, that it somehow must work. In the EA-Example from the installation there are some pictures with a transparent background...

Some help would be appreciated!

EA doesn't support transparent png files.  The images with transparency are metafiles.
