I am new to using both UML and Enterprise Architect for creating DoDAF views. I am familiar with IBM Rational System Architect (non-ABM) 'text-based' for DoDAF 1.5.
We have a requirement to still use DoDAF 1.5 and I am wondering if there is a suggested or preferred sequence to creating the views with Enterprise Architect.
With SA, the view development flow we follow is:
1. AV-1, Overview and Summary Information
2. OV-1, High-Level Operational Concept Graphic
3. OV-4, Organizational Relationships Chart
4. OV-5, Operational Activity Model
5. OV-6c, Operational Event-Trace Description
6. OV-2, Operational Node Connectivity Description
7. OV-3, Operational Information Exchange Matrix
8. SV-2, Systems Communications Description
9. OV-7, Logical Data Model
10. SV-6, Systems Data Exchange Matrix
11. SV-11, Physical Schema
12. SV-4, Systems Functionality Description
13. SV-5, Operational Activity to Systems Function Traceability Matrix
14. TV-1, Technical Standards Profile
15. TV-2, Technical Standards Forecast
16. AV-2, Integrated Dictionary
