Importing Source Code Lotus Notes Script
« on: August 16, 2012, 08:29:15 am »
Hi All,

Long time reader, first time posting  :)

I am just wondering if anyway has come across a requirement to reverse engineer and import Lotus Note Script into EA.

I know the file type is not supported based on this link and this has been confirmed by Sparx - http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/9.3/software_engineering/reverseengineersourcecode.html

But just wondering if anyone may have devised a workaround solution.

If that fails, we'll just have to put in the hard work and workshop the business processes and do some analysis.

Regards,

Stoppy

Not a solution, but..

Notes Script is rather similar to Visual Basic.

You MAY get some usable results if you attempt to import your NS source as VB source.

Hi All,

So no good on the import.

Will have to do some good old workshoping and analysis.
