want to link from a web page to HTML model
« on: July 12, 2009, 02:47:40 am »
I want to link from an external web page (in MS Office Live using a hyperlink on a page) to an EA HTML model. The web page requires a single file, but EA generates a directory + files for the HTML report. How do I link to this model? Do I have to convert the HTML output to a single file? If so, how?

Got it!  I had to place the EA generated HTML model output (directory) on the OfficeLive Sharepoint site. Then used the resulting Sharepoint URL of the "index.htm" file in the OfficeLive web page "Edit Link" hyperlink set-up window. Now I have a web site that can present an EA HTML model with all navigation expected. The entire site required no HTML coding whatsoever. THAT deserves a smiling jackass:   ;D
