EA 11 doc gen
« on: May 05, 2014, 09:32:26 am »
Its impressive how quick doc gen to DocX is.
I wonder when we can deprecate normal.rtf in favour of a docx version.

But has anyone noticed that unlike EA10 any textual content in normal.rtf is now included in the document?

Also of note, the upgrade no longer appears to stomp on
C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\Sparx Systems\EA\RTF Templates\normal.rtf
unlike previously, which is good.
I'm not sure where the install version of normal.rtf ends up instead.

I really like the changes to document generation in V11. Being able to select cover page, table of contents, style sheet and diagram styles is just a great improvement. The icing on the cake is being able to generated docx format direct instead of rtf.
Well done Sparx  :)
Happy to help
