Set Font Size - Add New Element From Toolbox
« on: December 04, 2014, 04:46:33 pm »
Hi All,

I have searched the forum post for this, but unable to resolve my little problem.  I have built a model and set out my placeholder elements and now starting to scale out my diagram.

My problem is when I add a new element from the toolbox, I have to manually apply the font size.

I understand I can select CTRL - A to select all and apply the fonts at once, but I am finding this requires me to go back and resize elements after I have progressed and reapply relevant cosmetic layout.

So, my question is can you set a default font size for elements when they are added from the toolbox?

Thanks in advance,

Stoppy  :D

Have you looked into template packages?

If that would not work my next best guess would be to write an add-in and subscribe to EA_OnPostNew(Diagram)Element.

To set default font of elements, from the Main Menu, select Tools | Options and press the Configure Default Element Fonts button in the Appearance group.
