How to remove package names from a diagram?
« on: April 28, 2015, 07:15:33 pm »
Having researched this question using the Help function in EA, I am turning to the forum for assistance.  I can't seem to find a previous post on the subject, so here is my problem.

I am using EA 10.0 Build 1009.

After initially creating a requirements diagram I separated my requirements into two new packages.  So I now have "Package1" with 2 nested packages below it in the hierarchy (let's say "PackageA" and "PackageB").

After I did this the package names of my nested packages now appear on the diagram below the requirements.  For example, I have a requirement "R00010" and beneath the box containing the requirement I can read "from PackageA".

The additional text is cluttering my diagram and I would like to remove it.  However, despite trying a number of options in the Diagram Properties I cannot find which checkbox I have to uncheck in order to remove the unwanted text from the diagram.

Is anyone able to help?

Many thanks,

GC.

Hi
Right lick on an empty space in your diagram
Choose properties from the context menu
Select Properties to display the diagram properties dialog
Choose Diagram from the tree control on the left
De select Show Namespace

HTH
Using V12
