.NET Framework Types
« on: February 12, 2004, 12:19:41 pm »
I should be able to either 1) begin a project from a .net framework eap template that already has all of the classes in .net loaded -OR- 2) download files to be imported into EA.  I did find a tool, but working with it was tedius and not all that accurate.

I agree completely! We need this functionality too.

Right now I have to MANUALLY  :'( recreate standard .NET classes using info from MS .NET documentation. It is ridiculous.

We are ready to buy such additional template/profile for EA - it will save us a lot of time and errors.

I have the perfect .NET framework model base file, also created an XMI exporter to create an XMI file that is compatible with EA.

It should not be to difficult to figure out, Let me know if you want my Base file which is a very tidy version of the imports, the EAP file zips down to 7meg but is 40meg EAP Model of the .NET Framework.

Thanks, I would love to see your EAP, but I do not see a link where I can download it on your page.  Would it be possible to zip it up and email it to me.

Thanks!

Any chance of getting the .NET base file you downloaded. The web site in this thread no longer exists.
   Thanks

Yes does someone have this base project available.  I would like to use it now that I am doing C#.  Also maybe Sparx could provide a .NET Framework base class project to start from as well.
