Layout diagram - should respect some settings...

On the layout properties for the diagram there should be a check box: Respect line styles.  That way, the line styles wouldn't change.  It would be up to me to sort it out.

In addition, it might be useful to "pin" the line style on individual lines.  That way, the diagrammer might respect the style, regardlessof the previous setting.  This would give very fine-grained control at little cost.
