Overriding features in Generalized Classifiers
« on: May 26, 2005, 11:25:55 pm »
NOTE:  I've done further checking and the original reason for this post is not true.  I've therefore deleted the substance of the post...

You CAN override attributes as well as operations following the attachment of a Generalization relationship between two Classes.

However, that being the case, the substance of the next post is even more important...

Further to my last post...

When you select a generalized element and query the override implementation using the Element|Override Implementation... menu item, you only get a list of those operations that are still to be overridden.  The list should be the complete list of the base operations and attributes; each with a checkbox indicating that the feature has been overridden.  You should then be able to uncheck a checked box and (with appropriate confirmation) be able to delete the subtype's implementation.

Thoughts?
