Link the attributes between sevral classes

Hello,
We would like to build classes from another attributes defined in another class (by drag and drop).
It seems EA copy the attribute but don't manage the link. Therefore in XMI generation (XMI 1.2) each attributes are identified by an xmi:id so it seems possible to manage this link.
Should it possible to implement this functionnality ?
