Case Sensitivity Feature diabled
« on: August 01, 2007, 06:49:26 am »
We need the case sensitivity/check feature for UserID login diasbled on the EA application because it si negatively impacting our daily business.

There is a lot of resulting user confusion and inability to get into the EA application due to case sensitivity. For example, users are logging in with the correct UserID but mistakenly use the wrong case when typing their UserID and the EA application is perventing them from logging in. This results in a lot of calls for EA user support, which again negatively impacts our business.

Hi Kevin:

This is really impacting us negatively since most of our users are running into this issue.

Can you do anything to alleviate this issue please?

What we use, is an NT autentification, and it works without need to rewrite userID and password all the time. If your security policy allows this, it may help you.
