[BUG in 7.0.817?] RTF-Dokumentation kills EA
« on: October 12, 2007, 01:04:26 am »
Hi!

I try to develop an RTF-Template for a relative complex EA-Project. We work also with the RaQuest Tool.

Everytime I start the Generation with the USeCase-Package highlighted EA Crashes!  >:(

Has anyone an Idea, how to export the RTF-Template to post it here? ???

Thanks for suggestions in advance

Marc

Marc,

This sounds serious, and should be brought to Sparx' attention.

Do you have a small project where this is repeatable?

If so, compress the file and attach it when you send a bug report directly to Sparx.

But... File the report in any case.

To file the report, follow the Report a Bug link below the Support link at the bottom of any forum page.

In your report, please quote the title of this thread, and past in the URL to the thread. Also, please let us know what you hear back from Sparx on this. By following this practice you'll allow Sparx to participate in any discussion here, and you will keep the rest of us in the user community in the loop.

Thanks,
David

[PS: Sparx is very good at handling these things, via workarounds and corrections. They issue new builds of EA every few (2-4) weeks, so getting such a report in early makes a difference.]

Hi Midnight,

thanks for your quick reply! I wasn't online here since your posting...

As I realized yet, I've had made a mistake in Report-Design, so this seems to be the reason for the crashes!  :-[

bye
