Line style

Is it possible to configure the default line style for the connectors.
(I like the 'custom line' but have to select it each time.)

It sounds like a general question, in which case it should be posted in a different forum section.

While you ponder this take a look at the Tools | Options | Links dialog. Or read the EA help item indexed as Connector | Display Options.

Okay, thank you very much.

It is confusion however. In the toolbox, there called "Relationships".
In Tools > Options the're called "Links".
The header is called default style, instead of default line style and the pulldown shows me different options as if I clicked on a relationship-line-link (not the same words). It looks a little inconsistent, but I can live with that for now.

I've look in the help, found something at "line style" (which again is a different name for the same stuff), but there was no mentioning about a default setting. Perhaps a hint for a help-text-writer?

I agree with you completely regarding the inconsistency of both the documentation and the dialogs.

I suggest you make a list of the specific mismatches, then submit them (as a single list) in a bug report to Sparx. Roy and his associates have been working to bring this kind of thing into line. When he started the documentation was already well over 1000 pages, and the dialogs had considerable legacy baggage, but things are improving all the time.

The main thing is that they cannot resolve these things unless they know about them. There are simply too many of these for someone to (quickly) find them all by inspection. We need to tell Sparx [politely!] when we notice them.
