See, Geert, what a classical education gets you?  ;)

Remember: Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur (Anything said in Latin sounds profound)

A very rough translation is: Ask that bugs be fixed...
(although I'm not so sure of the original Latin...)

altum videtur
actually: (videre=to see) looks (altus=high) greater

P.S. Modified cite from Cato: Finally I think that Carthago should be destroyed. You can google "Ceterum censeo" in wiki. What I said: Finally I think that errors need to be corrected.

I got the idea behind the "erroris esse rectam" part, but I was too lazy (its fricking 37°C here :o) to look up the whole thing.

Latin came before "Batman", Geert!

Fred was doing  his "Robin" impression...

hmmm. Robin?

Mr. smart-ass' guess: batman = virum musculus volans (flying mouse man)

But then again: Batman? Is this the right way to underline the importance of error correction (over feature addition)?

B.,

I was making a comment regarding Geert's "If it's 37 Celsius, it must be Belgium!" exclamation, not the importance of bug swatting. But then, Batvir would probably whip a few quick software fixes out from his utility belt and we'd all be happy.

Yes. Kill them...

Regarding Belgium: It was Cesar in his "De bello gallico" who wrote: Gallia est omnia divisa in partes tres, quarum unam incollunt Belgae. (It's the beginning and just says that Gaul is divided into three parts. One of which is Belgium.) As you might know from Asterix the Gaul have a little town... Maybe Geerd knows more about that. I wish some of that miracle drink would help to make EA a better software.

This thread is funny. But I think you guys are losing it. Too many years struggling with the tool, and living in forlorn hope that someday the big fat Sparx Santa will wriggle down your chimney and deposit a big pile of gifts under your tree.
