Stereotype-based Filter in Relationship Matrix
« on: June 17, 2009, 05:39:47 am »
It'd be nice if you could filter by stereotype in the relationship matrix.

Another nice evolution of that would be to be able to filter by tagged value.

I'd like to vote for this as well. We've got a large model, with lots of stereotyping, and the Relationship Matrix  is much less useful in these circumstances.
So let's have a Stereotype as well as the Type, and I'd happily support Tagged Values as a discriminator as well - good idea.

Greetings (seasonal ones at that)
Did anything come of this sugreq?
I want to use the matrix to create and display particular stereotyped relationships.
I thought that by adding a new one as a profile it might appear in the "Link Type" drop-down list.
Only the standard Link Types are displayed to me.

My problem has been addressed by Sparx Support.  :D
I needed to set the MetaType when defining the profile, using the Profile Helpers.

Support do not refer to this as filtering by stereotypes, but specifying a particular LinkType for the matrix has the same effect. Support make a useful distinction because filtering is once you've set a LinkType (etc).

My objective is reached, but I'd also support filtering by tagged value - certainly a good enhancement.
