How About IDEF0 Diagram capability

I use IDEF0 diagrams frequently to capture a 'system on a page' that I use to understand the complexity of systems. I currently use IBM's Rational System Architect which is a powerful tool but lacks the user friendliness and adaptability of Sparx EA.

The challenge with IDEF0 diagrams is that each side of the rectangle has a specific meaning. ICOM (input, control, output and mechanism to be precise)

Yes! We desperately need an MDG for IDEF0.  There is an entire phase of discovery and analysis that needs to occur before any sort of BPMN. Archimate is good, but quickly becomes far too busy. For complex business functions, IDEF0 is a must.  Anybody want to collaborate?
