Documentation output to docbook format
« on: November 06, 2008, 02:48:32 am »
This is a new feature request to support documentation output to docbook format - not just RTF. Benefits:

  • Added output format flexibility (e.g., pdf, JavaHelp, MS HTML help, etc) via docbook.
  • Added element filtering flexibility (XSL-based filtering).
  • Open source/3rd party tools and XSL transformations available for docbook can be leveraged to produce reports quickly.

Actally, I had asked on their page for support for the  OpenDocument (.ODT) format - as it is an open standard for office documents, easily parseable and changeable programatically, and implemented by a host of office applications, with more coming out each month.
