How can we show a different value than element and package names in the Project browser.

Objective: Based on some parameter, we would like to show a tagged value or the alias instead of the element or project name.

Cheers,
Alain

Alain,

You can't. The project browser will only show the name and stereotype, there is currently no way to influence that.

Options I see:

- Send a feature request to Sparx and be patient
- (temporary) Change the name of the elements
- Create your own version of the project browser as an add-in window

Thank you Geert. As suggested, I will send a feature request. Then I will try to develop patience by concentrating on breathing.

For completeness, there is one thing you can do with the presentation in the project browser: you can switch off presentation of stereotypes. Under Tools -- Options -- General (in 11.1). (You can also allow free sorting, but I don't think that's a good idea.)
