I contacted help and the only answer I got was that support for Visual Studio 2015 is not on the radar at all.  Is there any new news on this?

Work Item integration is an absolute necessity if you expect businesses that use TFS to use EA for requirements management.  VS & TFS 2015 and Visual Studio Team Services (was Visual Studio Online) is what everyone I work with is using and new projects can't use Sparx because of the lack of Work Item integration.

I second that. We are using VS 2015 and the integration is not working.

So...

What are you expecting from a USER forum?

So...

What are you expecting from a USER forum?

Since this USER forum is for Suggestions and Requests I am hoping the USERS make enough noise to get the attention of the SPARX folks that are hopefully looking at the thing.  Would not make a whole lot of sense if they aren't.

That would be logic thinking. Or should I say wishful? It's a good start, but then convince people you know to send in a feature request. Better convince them to convince their friends to do so. And even better convince trainers. There are so many good feature requests here on the forum and I have seen the majority of them simply starving. Or even worse, live on as zombies :-(

From the introduction to the Suggestions and Requests category (click on the Sparx Systems Forum link in the path under the menu band):

'Suggest and discuss, with other users, features you would like to see added to Enterprise Architect. It would be helpful to discuss only one feature per thread. To submit a feature request directly to Sparx Systems, please use the Feature Request link provided.'

That means, you the users talk amongst yourselves and see whether any of you have any suggestions on the issue being raised, and/or agree that there is support for a feature to be requested. Then you use the proper channel for submitting the feature request to Sparx Systems. Some of the Sparx employees join in the chat on this users' forum, but that is no guarantee that they are the right people to respond on any point, or that their responses are commitments to forward or act on any points that you raise. We simply join in to be helpful (or not!) in the same way as any user does, and with the same caveat - "Don't quote me on this..."

To officially contact Sparx and expect a formal response, submit a bug report or feature request, or send an email to Sparx Support or Sparx Sales.
Best Regards, Roy

As my very first message on this thread said.  I did that and got no where, so I am hoping to Spark (get it) interest this way.  The official way was tried first.  If you are telling me it is a complete waste of time to post to this forum, I will just delete the thread.

I am not interested in debating the context of this forum, but since that seems to be the biggest interest in this subject, so should I just not use this forum for getting others to speak up?  Kind of make the whole forum pointless.

I don't think that your post to the user forum is a waste of time. For one thing, it has identified what you have done to define the issue and your need for an upgrade of Integration for Visual Studio to support VS 2015. It also tells everyone what Sparx' official response was (so you did get an official response). And, it has shown that two other users agree with you - they have, as you wanted, spoken up.  You wouldn't have advised the user base or got support from other users without using the forum.

However, you then appear to want an official response from Sparx via the forum, and that won't happen.

It is up to you and/or the other two users to decide whether the declared support for this upgrade from the user population is enough to do as qwerty suggests and get your friends and associates to send feature requests to Sparx, and to send in another request to Sparx yourself, linked to this forum thread to show that other users have supported you.
Best Regards, Roy
