Hmpf. Like a punch in the stomach. Or like one of those spider web guns that sling a net around you. Definitely this is not a way to go. At least none I would recommend.

There is actually a "nesting" connector that you can use to visualize this in a diagram.
The owner end looks like a little circle with a vertical and horizontal line in the inside of the circle to the edge, forming a cross.

So if you would write a script to create those relations I wouldn't use composition, but the nesting connector.

Yes, as I've said many times, NESTING is about access (in an addressing sense).  You can't get to the child in the browser, without going through the parent.

In Composition, the both the holonym and the meronym are at the same level of access.

Inconsistently correct systems DON'T EXIST!
... Therefore, aim for consistency; in the expectation of achieving correctness....

I imagine like the rest of us Viking needs to keep the pay cheques coming in so its kind of Hobson's choice. With or without your recommendation

"I was just following orders" isn't a valid legal or moral defense for anything tho'.

Yeah right, put this into context though Glassboy - its a work around for a computer program to meet a user's needs not mass murder. Ignoring Qwerty's "recommendation" (which doesn't provide an alternative solution btw) isn't illegal right?

The problem with your perspective is that you're assuming that there needs to be a technology solution to the problem when a behavioral or process change on the part of the OP or his organisation may be the better solution.

PS. If you don't immediately recognize this quote go get yourself a DVD box of all Fawlty Towers episodes (only 12 where ever made) and binge-watch them next weekend.
