« on: October 23, 2017, 11:13:14 am »
Hello,

Has anyone come across a UML profile(s) for the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) Version 2 reference models? (link: https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/offices/e-gov/fea)

cheers,

Russell

I know very little about that framework. However, I did a web search. This thread came up on the first page, further down came a help link that suggests the EA TOGAF add-in includes the FEAF reference models. (http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/13.5/model_domains/support_for_federal_enterprise.html)

If so, that means our TOGAF profile is a suitable profile.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for replying. I have a feeling that the TOGAF MDG supports FEAF 1.0 which was pretty useless. V 2.0 is quite an improvement and is more what I was looking for info on.

I can work from the FEAF spec and bring in what I think I need and adjust it over time but though if there was a profile floating around out there it may reduce some of the work involved.

cheers,

Russell
