Entity Missing
« on: January 25, 2018, 02:43:39 am »
Hello there.

I'm trying to Transform am ERD into a Data Model.

This process has worked for some time now, but for some reason it's ignoring one of the Entities on one of my Driagrams.

My process has been:

Open a Diagram > select all entities + attribute on Diagram > Design Tab > Transform > Transform Selection

I'm not sure why it's not transforming just one of the entities. ie. The resulting Data model does not have that one entity or its relationships on it.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Maybe the one entity is not selectable?

Anyway, I would be inclined to always start from a package rather then from a diagram. Any specific reason why you are using a selection on a diagram?

Sorted!

If you have a Data Model that has been Transformed, any entities which are in that data model will not be transformed into any further data models.
The only solution will be to delete any Data models that have been generated and do the transform again.

This might be expected behaviour, as the console output / details shows "Synchronizing" on an entity that has been previously transformed.
