Partition of Sub-Classes - Generalization Set
« on: February 01, 2018, 12:31:07 am »
Hi

Is there any way of using the tool to represent a generalization set i.e. a group of related subclasses in a single partition?

For example, class Health Insurance Policy has partitions Insurance Plan (HMO Insurance, POS Insurance, PPO Insurance) and another relating to Coverage (Job based Insurance, Self Insurance, etc.). How can I group the two sets? At the moment each has its own association to Health Insurance Policy and constraints have to be applied to each association.

Thanks

There is something, but I never have been in that area. I know that Paolo is an expert here and probably he'll chip in to support you.

To create a Generalization Set, right-click one of the Generalizations and select "Advanced | Generalization Set | New..."
