Question on Template Generation
« on: November 17, 2011, 02:33:27 am »
Hi all...first-timer.

I'm attempting to modify a documentation template. I've checked off the Hide Note-less elements but I'm finding it filters out every child element for those parent elements that don't have notes.

I then check the option for Include Child Elements even if the parent is filtered but it still doesn't show.

The background is that we've got a consultant who insists on generating a spec with 183 pages because he's including every single item. I just want the items with notes but that option doesn't appear to do it for me.

Is this a known bug or is there a workaround?

Thanks

skiwi

IMHO its a bug, on the other hand it may be a feature.
I'd like to see this improved, I suggest you submit a feature request

If you're stuggling to make the native Sparx RTF work, why not have a look at http://www.eaDocX.com? We built it to solve just the kinds of problems you're encountering.
