How to optimize the mdg Technology

Hi! everyone,
I've created an new  MDG technology on  EA and Add a new Profile like indicated on the Help manual it's work. but my problem is now that i can't see it on the Model wizard, when i won to use the profile that i define on my project browser.
should i modify any Script to make it work or ...  please help!

Hi,

Did you set the path to your MDG technology XML file in the 'Settings->MDG Technologies' dialog using the 'Advanced' button? Did you enable your technology in this dialog?

i firstly created a profile, and then my new mdg using Tools->generate mdg technology file... , i can already see the element of my profile on the Toolbox Diagram. only on the wizard model. I'm using the version 9.3

Hi,

I guess to have your MDG technology appearing in the wizard you need to provide at least one model template (see http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/9.3/standard_uml_models/model_templates2.html).
What exactly do you expect to see in the wizard? The profile just defines the stereotypes that are available with your technology, toolbox profiles define these to be available in specialized toolboxes, diagram profiles define the standard toolboxes to use with these specialized diagram types. You may setup a model template containing your specialized diagram type(s).

thanks for the reply! it's was very very helpful.
so it's work know! but i have a problem. i make many test and my mdg list is now busy! is it a possibility to move the created mdg technology?
the "add advanced" , make the technology duplicated and when i move the path, the created version is always there. How can i move it?
