"Licensed Users" denote the total number of users you can add to Prolaborate; Only the users who are added can participate in reviews, discussions, edit information, create dynamic visualizations, analyze information, and work on all the features of Prolaborate.

They are neither floating nor named. As they are not named, you can easily remove and add users as needed.

Here are some common questions raised by our customers and our responses to them:
1. We have 100 business users who want to use the various capabilities of Prolaborate mentioned above. How many licenses should I buy?
You need to buy a Large Teams edition (100 users).

2. We have 250 business users who want to consume EA model information online but not more than 100 users will use the capabilities mentioned above. How many licenses should I buy?
You can buy Large Teams edition (100 users).
This edition comes with the "Open Community Access" feature that lets any number of users get view-only access to the customized view of EA Repository and a personalized Dashboard.

3. We have 250 business users who want to consume EA model information online but not more than 50 users will use the capabilities mentioned above. How many licenses should I buy?
You can buy Growing Teams edition (50 users) and the Open Community Access add-on. Please note Integrations and SSO are not available in Growing Teams edition.

4. We work on a project in each quarter of a year, while the total number of users can be more than 150, not more than 50 users will be there in one project. How many licenses should I buy?
You can just buy the Growing Teams edition (50 users). You can easily remove and add users using the User Management capabilities in Prolaborate. Please note Open Community Access, Integrations, and SSO are not available in Growing Teams edition.

Note: Prolaborate licenses are different from your Enterprise Architect licenses; there's no relation between them.

"Licensed Users" denote the total number of users you can add to Prolaborate; Only the users who are added can access Prolaborate. They are neither floating nor named. As they are not named, you can easily remove and add users as needed.

Scenarios:
1. We have 100 business users who want to participate in reviews, discussions, and work on all the features of Prolaborate. How many licenses should I buy?
You need to buy a Large Teams edition (100 users).

2. We have 250 business users who want to consume EA model information online but not more than 100 users will be actively using the various collaboration features of Prolaborate. How many licenses should I buy?
You can buy Large Teams edition (100 users).
This edition comes with the "Open Community Access" feature that lets any number of users get a view only access to the customized view of EA Repository and a personalized Dashboard.

Note: Prolaborate licenses are different from your Enterprise Architect licenses; there's no relation between them.

This is useful thank you.

However here's a variation of scenario 2.
"We have 250 business users who want to consume EA model information online ALL of whom will be actively using the various collaboration features of Prolaborate,  BUT we estimate not more than 100 users will be actively using the various collaboration features AT THE SAME TIME."

How many licenses should I buy?

As the licenses are not floating, if you want all 250 business to use Prolaborate you would need to purchase 250 licenses.
