Keep aspect ratio on resizing images
« on: November 11, 2020, 03:08:58 am »
EA is great at rendering and managing images in models (whether the image library or image asset elements are used).
When the pasted image needs resizing, it can only done in a free mode (as it is the case of model elements e.g. classes). It would be nice to keep the image ratio as a default behaviour.

Thanks

Guillaume

Have you tried that with a shape scripted element that uses fixedAspectRatio?

Hi Guillaume,

If you paste an image from the Clipboard or apply an Clipboard image to an object in diagram, dragging the object border with SHIFT key can keep the ratio. (same as Office applications)

Hope this helps.
