Compare diagrams - gap analysis

Hello,

I have a client using EA with Enterprise Architecture with Archimate, and created several diagrams to show different versions for instance of a set of applications flows.
Both diagrams have more or less the same elements.
He's looking for a way to run comparison that would produce a gap analysis diagram with a view of the new/deleted elements or connectors (new = green, deleted = red).

I don't believe this is available in EA (the aim here is to have separate diagrams, not different baselined versions of a diagram). Could it be implemented in a future release?
Unless someone has already done with via a script or addin?

The best way I can think of is to (for example, for entities), in a script, list all the entities from diagram A to a csv file. List all entities from diagram B using same script. Load both lists side by side into Excel, sort each list, then you can compare. If you are good at scripting, you can automate some of the manual bits.

You can use Diagram Filtering and set color depending on version attribute or any tagged-value

I just released today a few improvements on this feature (eaUtils 1.19.: by default diagram 1 content ("old") appears greyed out, and you can also customize all colours (font, background, border).
