Where can I change the default page of PCS?
« on: May 01, 2021, 09:33:38 am »
When you use the free features of PCS, and you access via a browser to the server:port where you set it up, you can find a simple web page with something like:
---
Sparx Systems Pro Cloud Server v4.0.33
Congratulations, your server is now ready to host your models. Connect through the configuration client to add or remove models.

If you haven't already, download Enterprise Architect from https://www.sparxsystems.com/
---
Is this text in any place I can change? I would like to hide some sensitive information in order to fit security requirements (hide the app name and version). Is this possible? where is this page or text stored?

In the latest version PCS 5.1 (maybe earlier too...), there is "Private app" check box on Extended Properties window of PCS Configuration Client. If checked, PCS identification string on the page is hidden.

But there are other cases, where ability to customize the page would be useful feature. Adding a site related info (like security rules, administrator's contact, etc.). Also, placing there other adminsitrative info, while PCS handled repositories (aka Models) are under maintenance (e.g. temporarily disabled for user access). Etc.
