v16β – New Element... Dialog - dropdown confusion
« on: November 16, 2021, 02:07:38 pm »
The Type dropdown used to present an ordered list of the metatypes in the selected MDG.  The order in v16βis (apparently) random.

Took me AGES to find the right metatype!

Needs fixing!

Well, I've had a reply from Sparx...
"The order is that of the selected toolbox."
To which I replied...
At least that explains why it's as useful as "tits on a bull" for our environment!  The toolbox in question has over twenty pages each of which may have tens of elements in it.  We need to have an option to sort the entire list (as we used to have before).  Currently, it is literally a nightmare!
Is it just me or for anything other than trivially small toolboxes, an alphabetically sorted order is more useful and consistent?
