Traceability between diagrams
« on: December 03, 2021, 06:45:01 pm »
Hi,

A user asked me if there is any diagram traceability support (he's used this on a SysML tool from a different vendor).
The aim would be to use the Traceability view and select a diagram from the Project Browser to find the associated diagrams. This would be a new way of navigating within the model. Note the traceability would not be between diagram hyperlinks or nav. cell elements, but between the diagrams.

Would dragging diagrams onto another diagram as Diagram Frame or more likely Diagram Reference and then create traceability between the Diagram References work for you?

No, the request was using traceability on a selected diagram from the browser, or active so one can see the associated diagrams in the traceability view.
I think this is something this user was used via a different tool which could be interesting via a new feature, yet I don't see it as a major thing.
