Prolaborate 4: how to save a Modeling Language Profile
« on: June 10, 2022, 06:22:32 pm »
Hi,

A custom profile has been defined in a repository Modeling Languages configuration where a custom MDG has been imported.
This includes the selection of available fields + custom field names, order, read/write access for each stereotype.

I can import/copy it to other Repositories which is handy. However since this has been done on a test environment, I'd like to export this profile to a local file that I could import on the production server.
Is this possible?
If not, can I use Prolaborate db to copy the information -> is it stored in the MDGDefaultProperties table ?)

Hi Guillaume

At the moment importing profiles across repositories is only available in prolaborate. We will add this use case to our backlog and try to get it implemented in any future releases.

No ,  it will be stored in the Profiles table. Please join "MDGTechnologies" with "Profiles" to get the specific profiles associated with an MDG
