'Save Project As...' is missing in EA 16
« on: April 29, 2023, 05:57:09 pm »
Dear all,

since EA 16 the 'Save Project As ...' menu entry is missing. Especially, when working purely on a file system this is an often used feature. Also this is standrad feature of all tools on the market and only missing in EA since version 16. Could you please integrate this back again in the the release of EA 16.1?

Regards,
Marc

Hi

Just use the New Project, select the same you are working on and change the name.
Looks like Sparx needed the menu option for something else, just guessing.
And yes, we often use this a lot.

That sounds like a scary workaround.

I would simply copy/paste the actual file to make a copy.

I do like Geert says: copy/paste the *.qea project file, rename it, then open it

"That sounds like a scary workaround"

It is if you have not saved your project before.
