Hello,
in EA v16.0.1604, I am trying to use the "custom document" feature in order to create an architecture description in MS Word format. I'm using fragment templates to insert dynamic content. Inserting seems to work well. However, when I am using the "update dynamic content" function, EA apparently always duplicates the last character of the template, which normally is the end-of-paragraph mark. With every update, there are additional paragraph marks inserted. In other cases, when the fragment template contains a table, apparently the end-of-table mark is duplicated, such that I get a table in a table after updating the dynamic content, so the format is completely destroyed.
Several questions:
- Is this a known bug?
- Is there any way to display a kind of field code (as in Word) displaying what is behind the embedded dynamic content?
- Is there any way to modify the template to avoid the duplication of characters?
This is a very annoying issue, because the model content is still changing frequently, so frequent document updates are needed. After several such updates, the document becomes unreadable and the only workaround seems to be to remove all dynamic content and re-insert it.
Kind regards,
Stefan
