PCS + http + Floating License server ?
« on: March 09, 2024, 02:27:18 am »
Hello,

A client started the initial set up of a Pro Cloud Server to access the EA repository and the floating license server.
http has been enabled on the PCS to start with (https will be configured later on).
Opening the floating license config client, access is limited to https or ssks, so I configured the keys on the .dat file in C:\Program Files\Sparx Systems\Pro Cloud Server\Service.
In EA, if I want to provide the details of the floating license server, I can only select https or ssks.

Is there a way to configure the access to http or do I have to configure https on the PCS if I want to use the license server ?
Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,

You must always set up HTTPS to use the Pro Cloud Server as a license server.

Hi Takeshi,

I ended using the self signed certificate procedure to use HTTPS.

Thanks
