Hey everyone,

I am facing a strange issue where I am not able to create a DSN via Windows ODBC Administrator on Windows 10.

I am using the installed ‚EA Firebird ODBC Driver‘ (Version 2.00.01.152) but unfortunately the window (64-bit) crashes immediately after I try to add a new DSN with this driver.

Background: I am trying to retrieve the data for further analysis via ODBC for e.g. In Power BI.
Question: Is there an easier solution for Firebird DBMS?

Environment:
Edition : Professional
Version EA : 17.0.1703.64bit
Version PCS : 6.0
Extensions :
Other Addin :
Operation Systems : Windows 10
System Type : 64bit
Connection Type : Server
DBMS: Firebird

Thank you very much for your help in advance

Best regards
Max

Hi Max,

If you haven't already, submit a defect report to Sparx using one of the links at the bottom. We have encountered numerous issues with ODBC connectivity to non-SQL-Server repositories, NONE of which have been resolved so far so that it works for us.
