Prolaborate - Tagged Values not showing up
« on: February 10, 2025, 11:13:28 pm »
Hi guys,

Running Prolaborate v5.4
Added ArchiMate Modeling Language for which we defined a group in the form designer.
We also set the 'Show for all stereotypes'.

We were then expecting to find our Tagged Values (created in the 'UML Types' dialog) in any of the four groups for stereotypes but no luck...

Can Prolaborate actually show 'custom' Tagged Values coming from the 'UML Types' dialog?

Thx,

Geert Bellekens

Archimate stereotypes don't have tagged values defined, so that would explain what you are seeing.

We defined our own stereotypes (specializing ArchiMate steroetypes) with our own tagged values.

That definitely works in Prolaborate.

If you need to see custom tagged values on ArchiMate elements, you need to define your MDG with stereotypes that extend ArchiMate, and install this MDG in Prolaborate so you can use the Form Designer.
EA UML types is simple a way to manually add tagged values on any element. They cannot be supported by Prolaborate.
