Project Transfert via the PCS OSLC API
« on: October 16, 2025, 11:38:51 pm »
Hi,

I'm looking for a solution to define a script e.g. PowerShell to run a transfer from the team's EA project to a dedicated publication project (both dBs are configured on the same PCS).
The preferred option is to use the PCS OSLC API (license installed) yet I can't find any ProjectTransfer method matching EA's API ProjectInterface class.
Is it likely to be supported in the future or a decision not to expose this feature via the PCS API ?

Currently PCS only offers the OSLC access to data and not any of the functionality that EA itself offers. I'm not aware of any plans to change that.

I submitted it as a feature request with the alternative approach to manage it via the PCS Config Client, similarly to the diagram images update scheduling: with this application, an admin could configure regular backups for a selection of configured EA databases.
