Problems with "Synch TaggedValues and Constra

hello,

i am working with an uml profile, which is imported in an ea model through an mdg tech file over the automation interface. now the profile had some changes and i wanted to update the current taggedvalues of the stereotypes in the model with the newly added tagged values in the profile. i tried to use the "synch tagged values and constraints..." menu option, but none of the changes synced.
does anyone has some experiences with that functionality and may provide some hints about the problem?
