Adding visible stereotype to Realization

Hello. In a component diagram, can't I add a visible Stereotype to a Realization from a (Packaging)Component to another Component?

I want to make it visible what exactly gets implemented by another Component.

Do I really have to use a different relationship than a Realization? Would an "Assembly" be most fitting as the replacement in this case?

I just create a Realize from a packaging component to a component (though that does not seem to be UML compliant) and added a stereotype which was showing with no issue.

Seems valid to me. UML has a dedicated type ComponentRealization for this scenario. EA only provides a single realization connector and works out the difference when exporting to XMI.

My above assumption was only based on he fact that EA does not offer such a relation as per default from the QL. I have not cross checked with Superstructures. However, it is independent of the OP's basic issue.

Hi. What about realizations of other UML-elements, i.e. classes or packages?

I can make a Dependency, an Association, a Generalization and they all show a <<stereotype>>, just not Realization? Can I enable it somewhere? I cannot confirm what qwerty says; I see nothing under the arrow of any created Realization with specified stereotype.

It is checked. I can see all the other stereotypes in the diagram; for dependency, association, generalization. Just not for realization.

I ve got version 14.1.

I have pointed from one package to another inside the bdd with a realization arrow.

I would like to have the stereotype "realization" be visible.

There is no stereotype "realization" that applies to a Realization connector. You are welcome to define one.
