They did say it was 'modified' HTML...

What happens if you turn off rich text display?
No, you can't have it!

Don't care. Beta01 worked. 02 didn't. Ergo: Bug.

Oh, no question about that whatsoever. I just wondered what happened?

I've tried this, both with a notes compartment and a note element. I made sure that there was rich text in both. I get the correct display with the note element, which always has rich text turned on. [The Set Feature Visibility dialog always shows it as off though, even if you change the setting and reopen the dialog.]

With a class element though, I get the correct display with rich text turned on. I get your result with rich text turned off. I do not get the problem with apostrophes, so the bug is likely isolated to specific entities, perhaps only double quotes.

This effected both beta 1 and beta 2, when the element is not rendering formatted text.  The error will also effect the legacy rtf report, testing report and a few extra places under the linux build.

Which means "known and bad luck for me" or "know and will be corrected in release x"? I can not understand why it rendered correctly in Beta01 but not in 02 if, as you state, the error was also in 01. :-?

Hi,

I've come across many quote characters in the Unicode system, Windows seems to make different ones the default for certain locales. Is it possible that you were using a different quote character in the Beta 01 release than what you were in Beta 02? That could explain the discrepancy.
Best Regards,

Michael

Known and not yet corrected, but I'll do my best to make sure 7.1 doesn't go into production with the error there.  I'll keep you posted.

Should be fixed in the next build, and probably didn't see it in beta 1 because the notes hadn't been saved for that element yet.
