Sterotypes not updated in MDG UML Project View
« on: May 03, 2008, 11:25:53 pm »
I have a class that I stereotyped as a <<structure>>. The stereotype shows correctly in the class diagram, as well as the element tree view. When I delete the  stereotype via the elements property window, the element in the class diagram updates correctly, but not the tree view.

This works if I use the <<struct>> stereotype instead of my unique sterotype.

It might be something language dependent. Perhaps EA is 'looking for' the «struct» stereotype as a candidate for removal when it cleans up the display, so it doesn't catch the «structure» version. I wonder if a different code generation language setting would work properly, or reverse the situation.

Either way, please send in a bug report to Sparx. If possible attach a small project with a sample that does not work, as well as one that does. This will let them examine the element and package settings to see what's different.
